The Rutgers Academic Leadership Program (RUALP) provides a forum for disseminating information on policies and practices, addressing theoretical and practical problems of academic leadership, sharing effective practices across disciplines, and creating a collaborative network of administrators and faculty members charged with providing academic leadership for the institution.
RUALP is sponsored by the Center for Organizational Development and Leadership (ODL), the Graduate School-NB, Chancellor-NB, and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. The RUALP program is co-chaired by Dr. Barbara Bender, Associate Dean, Graduate School, New Brunswick; and Dr. Brent Ruben, Distinguished Professor of Communication and Executive Director of ODL. For further information, contact ODL at email@example.com or Dr. Bender at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rutgers is a member of the Big Ten Academic Alliance. We are actively engaged with the CIC in areas related to leadership development, among others, and our affiliation will provide a variety of opportunities for Rutgers faculty and academic administrators. For further information on CIC activities related to leadership development go to http://www.cic.net/faculty/academic-leadership-development, or contact: Brent Ruben, who serves as Rutgers liaison to these CIC Programs.
